GENERAL CATERING ACCOUNTS

 

PRICING

All prices are current at the time of quotation, however, are subject to change based on market fluctuations. All prices shown are inclusive of GST.


PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

Kent Street Deli reserve the right to substitute food, beverage or service items, in consultation with the client, when issues arise regarding product availability or supply.

 

PROVISION OF CATERING

Kent Street Deli will make every effort to work with clients and offer menu options to suit specific requirements. Sample and suggested menu items are provided from our comprehensive range. Clients and their guests are not permitted to provide food or beverages for consumption or distribution at a Kent Street Deli catering without prior arrangement.

 


BOOKING CONFIRMATIONS


TENTATIVE BOOKINGS

A booking is considered tentative once Kent Street Deli has prepared and forwarded a quotation document for the client’s consideration. Tentative bookings will be held for a period of seven days. After this time tentative bookings may automatically be cancelled and reallocated to other enquiries without further consultation.

 

CONFIRMATION

A tentative booking will be considered confirmed upon receipt of deposit. Minimum deposit requirements are 20% of the estimated catering value.

 

FINAL DETAILS

To ensure the smooth running of your catering, final catering details must be arranged at least 48 hours prior to the catering date. Kent Street Deli cannot guarantee the provision or availability of menu or service items submitted after this time.

 

EXPECTED ATTENDANCE

Booking confirmations are accepted based on the provision of expected attendance figures as being a true and accurate representation by the client.
The guaranteed minimum number of guests attending must be confirmed to Kent Street Deli at the point of booking the catering. A decrease in catering attendance cannot be accepted. Every effort will be made to accommodate increases in attendance up to 2 days prior to the catering.

 


PAYMENT


Prepayment of the estimated catering account as quoted is required either at the point of pick up or 48 hours before collection/delivery date. Payment is accepted via direct bank transfer, EFT, cash or credit card.
Purchase orders will be accepted from Government Departments for the estimated value of the catering at the point of the order.
Any additional charges incurred during the catering will be invoiced in the week following and are to be finalised within 7 days.
A Public holiday surcharge of 25% will be applied to the total account for any catering falling on a designated public holiday. Caterings extending into a Public Holiday may be subject to a portion of this surcharge pending service requirements.

 

CANCELLATIONS

In the unfortunate situation that a client must cancel a catering, notification must be made in writing and Kent Street Deli reserves the right to charge the following cancellation fees:

 

Less than 48 hours prior- the client will be liable for 100% of the catering amount

 

Anything above one-week prior- the client will be refunded in full

 

UN - FORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCES


Kent Street Deli reserve the right to cancel a booking and refund deposits and pre payments without further liability, if unforeseen circumstances such as, but not limited to, natural disasters, interruption to utilities and services, plant or equipment failure, industrial disputes, accidents or interruptions and unavailability of products result in Kent Street Deli being unable to deliver products or services as quoted.

 

SECURITY & CONDUCT

 

DUTY OF CARE

At all times when Kent Street Deli is supplying liquor as the Licensee, we will serve your guests in a responsible, friendly and professional manner. Under the Liquor Licensing laws of Western Australia, we have a duty of care to all our guests and our trained staff will not serve alcohol to those guests deemed to be intoxicated or behaving in an antisocial manner. Alcohol will only be served to patrons over the age of 18 years of age and requests for identification may be made by our staff.

 

FOOD SAFETY

Kent Street Deli Catering advise that all food must be consumed within two hours of initial serving, therefore any food consumed after two or more hours of it first being served is at the clients discretion and therefore becomes their responsibility. It is our standard practice to remove all left over food from site. By signing these terms and conditions you are indemnifying us in advance from all liability should you wish leftover food to be left on site or you/your guests to take food home with you.

 

SECURITY

Management reserve the right to appoint security personnel for the purpose of maintaining guests safety and catering security, charges will be payable by the client.

 

SMOKING

In the interest of public health and in keeping with Government regulations, all Kent Street Deli venues are smoke-free.

 

DAMAGE OR LOSS

Any loss, breakage or damage to property or equipment caused by guests will be invoiced at full replacement costs, including associated cleaning, repair and maintenance works. Any equipment or hire items not available for collection at the designated time will be recorded as missing and invoiced as such. Charges will apply for additional equipment collections following a catering.
Kent Street Deli will not be responsible to any loss or damage to client property, products, merchandise or gifts delivered to or left on catering premises prior to, during or following an event.

 

INDEMNITY

The client must at all times indemnify Kent Street Deli and its employees for any liability or claim arising for personal injury or death of any person or damage or loss of property in any way relating to the catering or persons attending the catering, except to the extent of omission, contribution or negligence by Kent Street Deli.

 

 

CORPORATE, WEDDING AND EVENT RELATED ACCOUNTS

Product Availability - Kent Street Deli reserve the right to substitute food, beverage or service items, in consultation with the client, when issues arise regarding product availability or supply.

Menu Tasting – All menu tasting sittings are $59 inclusive GST. Tastings are only applicable to our bridal packages and special events.

 

Provision of Catering - Kent Street Deli will make every effort to work with clients and offer menu options to suit specific requirements. Sample and suggested menu items are provided from our comprehensive range. Clients and their guests are not permitted to provide food or beverages for consumption or distribution at a Kent Street Deli function without prior arrangement.

 

BOOKING CONFIRMATIONS

Confirmation - A tentative booking will be considered confirmed upon receipt of deposit. Minimum deposit requirements are 10% of the estimated function value. Booking confirmations and deposits received more than fourteen days after quotation are subject to Kent Street Deli confirming date.
Date Changes will be permitted within 30 days of the original function date, pending confirmation of availability. Deposits and pre-payments received will be transferred to the new date. Date changes in excess of 30 days from the original function date will be treated as a cancellation.

 

Final Details - To ensure the smooth running of your function, final function details must be arranged at least fourteen days prior to the function date. Kent Street Deli cannot guarantee the provision or availability of menu or service items submitted after this time.

 

Expected Attendance - Booking confirmations are accepted based on provision of expected attendance figures as being a true and accurate representation by the client. Kent Street Deli reserves the right to review pricing if the actual attendance is more than 20% less than the expected attendance.
The guaranteed minimum number of guests attending must be confirmed to Kent Street Deli fourteen days prior to the function. Decrease in function attendance cannot be accepted after this time. Every effort will be made to accommodate increases in attendance up to 2 days prior to the function.

 

PAYMENT
Pre payment of the estimated function account as quoted is required fourteen days prior to the function via direct bank transfer, EFT, cash or credit card.
Purchase orders will be accepted from Government Departments for the estimated value of the function at least fourteen days prior to the function.
Any additional charges incurred during the function will be invoiced in the week following and are to be finalised within 7 days.
A Public holiday surcharge of 25% will be applied to the total account for any function falling on a designated public holiday. Functions extending into a Public Holiday may be subject to a portion of this surcharge pending service requirements.

 

Cancellations - In the unfortunate situation that a client must cancel a function, notification must be made in writing and Kent Street Deli reserves the right to charge the following cancellation fees:

 

Less than two weeks prior – the client will be liable for 100% of the event amount

30 - 90 days prior- the deposit will be no non refundable however, any instalments paid will be refunded in full
